Pursuit of Happyness . . .

Felt like Chris Gardner running yesterday. Woke way before dawn to the music of rain dancing on our roof. Rode in the rain with kids who had listened to Chris — and Will — and wouldn’t let their dreams be dampened. They wanted to make the world a better place.
Ran to the trailer to meet some deadlines. Sent my team off to the movie with Jackie’s mom so I could get some of the kids’ incredible work up on the website.
Felt like Chris again as I huddled in the trailer with a blanket around my legs trying to keep my fingers from shivering off the keyboard. Rwandan coffee, falling rain on the trailer roof, and a locked bathroom door had me pursuing the nearest palm tree. Visions of Will and Chris continued, as I huddled in the parking lot, feet in puddles, and changed from my shorts and sweatshirt to my slacks and bow tie.
It was the perfect prologue to our night with Will Smith. Check out the Too Cool page for our meeting with Reverend Will, if you please!
