Opening Night
 
Breakfast in the car. Toothbrush and paste in my pocket. Hygiene on the run. The SBMS Teen Press brought smiles to the Press Room this morning at the Hotel Santa Barbara. Beginnings are important, and before we got out of the lobby, we had two interviews and lots of friends. Check out the video of our studio set up. We even have wireless internet!!! Now all we need are a couple mini spot lights for each side of the trailer. David is working on a banner with our name and website to drape from the trailer. Also, every day the kids are going to add new posters to the outside and inside. Dick says just don’t cover the SBMS logo. We weren’t swept out and set up for five minutes before the kids had the laptops out and were researching their upcoming films and interviews. Blog deadline was mid afternoon and the USB drives were flying in and out of my laptop. David, Eli and Charlotte are probably just getting out of the Arlington right now after Opening Night. David has had a longer day than the kids and probably wants to hit the sack, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Teen Press doesn’t try to convince him to go and check out the Opening Night party. After all he is a dancer. Give us a wave on Anacapa and if you have any spare mini spot lights . . . .
