The Team witnessed a criterium race held at night after the convention shut its doors. Fast and furious, this is not a race for the faint of heart or weak of limb (we're talkin' the racers, here, not the spectators). Even the spectators have to get used to the intensity of the packs of riders whizzing by at high speed and very close proximity. They're almost a blur, and there is a discernable wind that is whipped up by their passing. Santa Barbara local Dave Lettieri of FasTrack Bicycles competed in the Industry Race, one of four crits held that evening.
