The Teen Press wants Reporters and Mentors! We're looking for students who are motivated to get out and discover what's new, then work on the best way to tell the story to others. We'll be creating a special section on Local Heroes, trying to re-connect with our LA contacts and Playing For Change, as well as covering ongoing events at the Lobero and Granada Theaters. We need Reporters and Mentors!

Teen Press Reporters are expected to research their stories, arrange for interviews (by calling and emailing prospective interviewees), ask questions, take notes and/or video, and then write stories and reviews.

Teen Press Mentors are experienced Teen Press Reporters, who take a leadership role in guiding new team members in their tasks, and who handle more technical duties such as camera operation and video editing with Final Cut.

The Teen Press is WORK--but it's fun!

Our reporters are out in the public eye, so the highest standards of behavior are required.
