Bran Nue Dae was an amazing story. One aspect that I liked about this film is that it is kind of like a musical; there were lots of catchy songs spread throughout the film. Also, I loved the twisted, interconnected plot. It was great because at the end of the film the characters / actors all ended being related to one another. This film also had a lot of humor which made me love it even more. This film was about a young man, Willie, who runs away from studies at a Catholic missionary, and his mom's desire for him to become a priest. On the run at night, he finds some other runaways and later finds out one of them is his "uncle." Together the two venture off and head back to his home town, Broome. Willie is yearning to return to the love of his life that he had left behind. This was an amazing film that I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I thought that this movie was great even with the corny singing. The music added some life and playfulness to an already fun and entertaining story. I thought that the acting was great and I loved the exaggerated plot. All of the scenes in this film were filled with bright color and lively acting. I would recommend this film for those 11 years-old and older, as there are some "adult scenes." Otherwise it was a hilarious and inspiring story of playfulness, love and adventure.
