Santa Barbara International Film Festival:

Caroline & Arman ask composer and musician Will Bates how he created and chose music for the ocean . . . what tunes are on his own personal playlist . . . and whether kids should listen to music when they are doing their schoolwork.

The Opening Night film was "MISSION BLUE", featuring the story of Sylvia Earle, ocean activist extraordinaire. Will's mission is to help Sylvia organize the planet to set aside 20% of the oceans as marine preserves, or "Hope Spots", by the year 2020. To find out more about the film and their mission, visit the MISSION BLUE website.
