Santa Barbara International Film Festival:

SYLVIA EARLE, Scientist & Activist

On the red carpet of Opening Night at the SANTA BARBARA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, Teen Press members Caroline & Armand ask "Her Deepness" what living thing she would want to be if she could live under the sea.

Sylvia was the subject of the Opening Night film "MISSION BLUE". Sylvia's own mission is to organize the planet to set aside 20% of the oceans as marine preserves, or "Hope Spots", by the year 2020. To find out more about the film and her mission, visit the MISSION BLUE website.
