Around the World

Today four of us interviewed the director of the documentary A Year On Earth. The movie is about three teenagers going to remote places on Earth investigating and finding out about wildlife and things that are in jeopardy. We have not had time to see the movie, but it sounds amazing.
I also saw the strangest, most random, and unexplainably different movie I have ever seen. It is called The Great Yokai War. It is a story about Japanese spirits being converted into machinery by two evil human looking spirits. (The way I am describing this, it sounds like it is about ghosts, but it is not.) Japan’s only hope is a boy who was deemed as the “Protector of Peace” at a village festival. I do not think there is another movie out there that is as strange, interesting, good, bad, and exciting at the same time. Oh, and by the way, it is in English subtitles.
I can’t wait for tomorrow, because I will be going to the Centerpiece film, Amazing Grace and the red carpet event afterward.
