Hey guys . . .
It’s Alissa and I just have to say I am soooo jealous of Eli and Char because of all the cool things they did on the red carpet last night. I can’t wait for it to be my turn!!!
Today I say three movies; the best one by far was Blindsight. It’s a movie about 6 blind kids that are trying to get to the top of one of Mt. Everest’s sister mountains. It’s inspirational and breathtaking and it faces the problems that you have to deal with if you are born blind in Tibet. I like how they make the movie so that the mental goal is so much more important than the physical goal. The only problem was that it jumped around a bit. After the movie there was a Q & A and the producer talked about the film. Afterwards, we got a private interview with her.
I also saw the films Recycled Life and Ayamye. Neither was as rich as Blindsight, but they were very interesting. Check out my review for Recycled Life.
I’d have to say that Recycled Life had more of an
impact on me than Ayamye, but Ayamye was a good
note to end on because of the happy ending.
Tomorrow I’m seeing the movie Finding Kraftland and Man in the Chair. John says they’ll be really good. I did find some pix. I’m looking forward to seeing Man in the Chair most. It’s about a boy that wants to be a movie director. And on the way he becomes friends with a crotchety gaffer.
At least I think that’s what it’s about…
