Tom Ritchey is credited as being one of the fathers of modern mountain biking as well as a renowned bike racer. His company, Ritchey Design, continues to push the envelope on component design and manufacture. He started Project Rwanda, designed to aid the economic development of Rwanda through "initiatives based on the bicycle as a tool and symbol of hope." The Teen Press caught up with Tom as he raced between business meetings and magazine interviews to ask him about his work with Project Rwanda.
