Hey! I'm Emily, and I am a seventh grader at Santa Barbara Middle School.

I chose to join the SBMS Green Press this spring because I knew it was my last chance do it this year. One of things I requested was that I be operating the camera instead of taking part in the interviews. It is my fourth day, but I have already gotten really into it and have changed my mind about being on the other side of the camera. I have worked hard at learning how it's all done, and have done lots of research to find out more about the people we will be interviewing.

I have a lot of hobbies, my biggest one being frolicking. I am a devoted tomboy, but inside I have a natural love of frolicking whenever I can get the chance. I love fantasy, too! Faeries, princesses, gnomes, dragons, and butterflies are all really awesome! When I am older, I would like to pursue any career that has to do with computers, get more into guitar and songwriting, and spend more time creatively with my camera. I have two sisters, an awesome cat, a delirious guinea pig, and I live with my mom and dad. We are a CRAZY COOL family.

Most people don't know it, but I was born in Sheffield, England, and I am only eleven years old. I skipped fifth grade, and have already been to five different schools! I have already been to five schools, and so far, this one has been the best!
