Wednesday . . .

Hey guys!
So yesterday (cuz I’m writing this on Thursday) I went to The Italian and then right after, I had to get changed into my dress and get over to the Arlington Theatre as fast as I could to go see the Centerpiece film, Amazing Grace. I loved both films. The Italian made me, as I predicted, cry. I’m so bad at movies like that. The weird thing though, is that when I cry at movies, I always cry at the happy parts… it’s really strange. The movie Amazing Grace was sad, but I didn’t cry. Oh well, I guess everyone’s movie habits are different.
On the Red Carpet, we met 3 people. Ioan Gruffurd (Wilberforce from Amazing Grace) Benedict Cumberbatch (Amazing Grace) and John Cleese. All were very nice, except John Cleese was a little hurried so we didn’t get to ask many questions. We were surprised when Benedict Cumberbatch told us he hadn’t seen the film yet and this was his first time seeing it.
After the movie, which was very good (even though Eli fell asleep, John thought it would be better as a play and Alexa thought it was too long) we met the guy on the new chef on the food network. We got a few samples of the food (it was all delicious and I wish he made me dinner every night) and some footage and an interview, but I was really tired and my feet hurt a lot from standing on them for so long and it wasn’t very interesting for me as I was just following Eli and John around, so I went home early (???)
It was funny, cuz everyone that was there recognized Eli from the paper or knew him already, so everywhere we went, there were shout of “Eli, hey, nice to see you again” and stuff. So I felt very invisible. But the movie was good and Ioan Gruffud liked my dress and it was fun to talk to Benedict Cumberbatch, so I had a fun night. I wish we could have had more food though…
