Do I even need to write one? I mean honestly, who hasn't seen this movie? Anyway, for the people who haven't heard or watched this film, it's about a dysfunctional family. Their youngest daughter, Olive, has made it into the "Little Miss Sunshine" beauty pageant, and the family needs to drive all the way to Santa Barbara from Albequerque to get there. Basically, this film is about the drive to Santa Barbara and how Olive's beauty pageant turns out.  

 

    I don't even need to tell you that this was a great movie. It was nominated for the "Best Picture of the Year" award for the Oscars. I love how the film's ending isn't corny, but still leaves the audience satisfied. It has a subtle kind of comedy, as the jokes aren't as "in your face" as normal comedies such as "50 First Dates" (not that it's a bad thing).  The type of comedy in this film is different from others, which is why this movie sets itself far above others.
