In a Hurry . . .

So last night I watched 49-Up. I didn’t think it was that great cuz it was soooo long (and so boring)!! Check out my review on it to see more.
Then today we went down to the Center Stage theatre to see 2 short movies called 911: DUST AND DECEIT AT THE WORLD TRADE CENTER, and Wake on the Pier. I can’t really tell you much about the second one cuz we had to leave early. But what I saw was good!! It was pretty much about the Arlington West Memorial out on the beach here in Santa Barbara. The Arlington West Memorial takes place every Sunday, when crosses for each and every American soldier who has died in the Iraq War. It’s really saddening and frustrating and shocking to see how many people have been taken away from this life. For every single cross out there is a whole family that was hurt by the death, a whole person whose life exists no longer. It was heart breaking to see the tears on those family member’s eyes. The crying that took place inside their hearts as they talked. But we only saw a little bit of it, so I don’t think that I can rate it properly. So I won’t.
Now on to a lighter subject (yeah right), the other one was about the effects of the bad advice given to everybody involved in 911. I couldn’t even believe how completely stupid America was, when we tried to come to the “aid” of the victims. Ugh!!! It’s just horrible!! But I did think that this one was a little too long as well, because I got kind of bored and had to work hard to keep focused. I also got to this one a little late, but for this one I will rate it: 4 out of 5.
Well that’s just about all and tomorrow I’m gonna see Quantum Hoops!

         Bye!
