This morning we all met Kelly Maxwell, an Apple PR rep, outside of the Moscone Center to get our media badges that would get us into the Keynote. We joined a crowd of people loading onto the escalator. We came to the 3rd floor and interviewed other news people while we waited to get into the giant auditorium. As the doors started to open, all of the media people, including us, scrambled to get a seat. We were very lucky because we sat in the 10th row!

During the Keynote, Steve Jobs talked about the new technologies that have come in 2008; new things for the iPod and iPhone, movie rentals on iTunes and Apple TV, and the thinnest laptop in the world, the MacBook Air. When I heard about the new laptop, I was so excited to learn more about it.

After the Keynote, we all tried to interview Mr. Jobs, but Zev and I didn’t reach him in time. Through the crowd we saw Harrison give him a card. Zev and I headed off to explore some booths. We didn’t quite find what we were looking for but we ended up getting some awesome swag. We got different iPod and iPhone covers and different brands of memory sticks.

After our journey through the booths, Sophia, Emma, and I headed off to the South Moscone building to go interview people that were showing their products. We found out about different iPod cases for different activities, cameras that are mainly built for YouTube videos, and a computer without keys and a touch-screen pen.

After some interviews and relaxing in the Lobby, all of us headed to a Press Conference to talk about the new Ladybug and how Element is involved with it. We all got free Ladybugs and skateboards signed by Johnny, the founder of Element!
