On the eve of going to Macworld, the Teen Press visited four locations in Santa Barbara and asked "Are you Mac or PC?" We walked
State Street, visited
City College and
UCSB, and then checked in our own back yard--
SBMS.

The MacBook Air debuted today at Macworld during Steve Jobs' keynote presentation to an enthusiastic crowd of 3,000. It's a wedge-shaped sliver only 3/4" at the back, slimming down to .16" at the front -- "the world's thinnest laptop." The Teen Press was on hand for the presentation, meeting Jobs and also the founders of YouTube. We'll be uploading stories throughout today and tomorrow -- check back soon for more!
Congratulations come Steve's way after the Keynote. It was a celebration of Mac-ness. Yes, Apple may have dropped the "Computer" from it's name, but the center of our fandom is still the Macintosh.

The
Teen Press made the journey Moscone Center in downtown San Francisco to scope out the latest wonders in tech from Apple. Not that we're biased, mind you -- that mad gleam in our eyes is purely from the overhead halogens!
To spread the joy, we've created four teams to cover the action:
- Applications: Eliana & Logan
- iPod/iPhone: Emma & Harrison
- iStuff: Griff & Sophia
- Computers: Emalani & Zev
Keep checking back to see what our Teen Teams bring back -- from the Keynote (Steve's latest wonders) to the Exhibition floor (a few football fields' worth of mind-blowing STUFF)!
