Today was amazing. For starters we didn’t have to wake up at 4:30 and we got to get some amazing pastries at “The Cheese Board”. When we got to Macworld we set up camp in the Media Room and went off in our pairs. First Logan and I went to Microsoft, with Jacob as our film man. The head lady at the desk gave us a full tour of all the new things for Office: Mac 2008. When we got to the man at Word 08 he said media wasn’t allowed at the booth but we could go schedule a private meeting with Microsoft. So we headed upstairs and got a meeting for 1:00. Later as we were walked up for our meeting a man named Noah Berger stopped us and asked if he could take some photos. At the end of his sentence he quickly added that he was with the New York Times and that our photo would be in the business section this Sunday! After we agreed and proceeded in taking a ten-minute photo shoot, we rushed to our interview with Microsoft.

We had planned it so that Logan would interview and I would film but it ended up being more of them demonstrating how to use Office 08. It was really interesting and by the end of it my arm was dead from holding the camera for 20 minutes!

Outside we met Harrison and together we went downstairs to give John and David our footage. In the Media Room we found everyone else talking to Bob Barboza the head of Kid’s Talk Radio. He was really interested in our work and wanted to interview us. It was a really great interview and he really wanted us to do all these great things with him, like go to China following the woman’s Volleyball team to the Olympics. I don’t know if it all will happen but it was fun dreaming big.

After we were all packed and ready to leave Macworld, we went out to pizza and then headed home. All in all I liked day 2 better because day 1 had been more of scoping out the Moscone Center and day 2 we got down to business.

Well it’s 11:00 and we’re not even half way home, it will be a long night, “I’ll see you tomorrow”.
