Today was the first day of the MacWorld expo in San Francisco. When we got to the Moscone Center, Logan’s friend Kelly Maxwell met us at the front and gave us our press passes. She also gave us each a fifteen-dollar gift certificate to iTunes! Before the Keynote started we mingled in the sea of press, and tried to make acquaintances. We were all kind of shy at first but when we saw a guy using a PC and it gave us a laugh, we loosened up.

When the Keynote doors opened we rushed into the huge auditorium and succeeded in finding seats in the 10th row! Music played for a while but when Steve Jobs came on everyone went silent. He in introduced a few new items like office 08 and Time Capsule but my favorite was when he said that you could now rent movies iTunes! I really liked how you could rent a movie anytime, and transfer it to an iPod if you wanted to. My second favorite product was the Macbook Air because it is so thin and it only weighs three pounds.

After the Keynote was done Logan and I went around and looked at all the booths. My favorite was Power Napping. They were these chairs made for employees to take a nap on their brake. It played relaxing music into your ears. Logan said “it was awesome and it put me to sleep right away”. We looked around a little more and then we went to the Moscone South across the street.

This room was much bigger than the last and housed many more booths. Logan and I agreed that Dr. Bott was definitely the best place to get Swag (free stuff)--"Thank you, Dr. Bott!"--but I personally had a lot of fun talking to Judy, who worked in the camera section. After that Logan and I split up, and I teamed up with Emalani, Sophia, and Emma. Together we roamed till we dropped.

Our last appointment was a press conference for the Ladybug (ladybug-shaped speakers for your iPod). Emma and Harrison both got free skateboards and new Ladybugs. They said we could come back tomorrow and we could all get free ones too. Then we went out to a sleepy dinner, “It’s been a long day”, “lets go to sleep”!
