My name is Helena, and I am a 7th grader at SBMS and a Teen Press Reporter.

My first interview was with Erin Gruwell and my favorite interview so far has been with Erin Gruwell, but, I’ve only been to one event. I was born and still being raised in Santa Barbara, which of course means I love the ocean. In my family there are, me, my mom Laurie, my dad Skye and my little brother Larkin. I am 12 years old, and before I went to Santa Barbara Middle School I went to Montessori Center School for my whole “school career”. My favorite foods are pasta, any form of Mexican food, and my favorite drink is iced tea. This is my first time on Teen Press.
