My name is Dia and I am in the 8th grade at Santa Barbara Middle School.

In my spare time I love to climb, surf, play volleyball, and dance. I chose to do Santa Barbara Middle School’s Teen Press because it is a great opportunity to hear peoples' stories. A dream I have for the Teen Press is to interview the President. I want to interview the President because I think he is an interesting person that has a different and complex perspective on our world. I know it is a big dream, but with the confidence and perseverance Teen Press has, anything is possible.

My dream for my future is to help change the world somehow. My inspiration is all of the documentaries that have impacted me positively. Another dream I have for myself is to be involved with film because love the messages that that art form has the capability of sharing. As you can tell I like to shoot for the moon, but, the worst thing that can happen is I land on a star.
