Hi my name is Oli; I’m an eighth grader at Santa Barbara Middle School.

I joined Santa Barbara middle School Teen Press with hopes of meeting all of my childhood heroes--and because I know that this will make the most of my years at SBMS. There are many people that I would like to interview, but there's only person who stands out the most to me, and that’s President Barack Obama. I would like to interview him because I believe he is a great leader for our country and he seems like a fun person to talk to. I know that this idea may seem far fetched to people, but not to the Teen Press. Another reason I chose to be a part of the Teen Press is because of the perseverance and effort everyone shows.

I am cheerful, energetic, and always in a good mood. I love to sing, play volleyball and surf. I like hanging out with friends and laughing. My favorite foods are pasta, blenders, and tri-tip sandwiches. My favorite places to go are Mexico, England, Italy, and Michigan. My favorite places to eat are South Coast Deli, Fresco, and Saigon noodles. I have to say that Ed Sheeran is definitely my favorite songwriter and has been for a while now. My favorite thing to do is go to the beach and surf (or at least try)! I look forward to many more exciting interviews and adventures!
